looking good, what sand u got in there?

It's the usual £2 play sand from argos. Never realised how cheap and useable it was until somebody told me after I'd paid £26 for the lfs stuff in my other tanks!

I've alaways found cheap playsand to be very unsuitable unless you have fish that constantly churn it up(larger catfish and loaches for example). If its not going bad due to packing down it gets into filters and ruins the impellors.

Hiya, I have 5 clown loach, 2 kuhli's and 2 chain loach so hopefully I shouldn't be too bad for churners lol. I'm planning on getting a plec too so that may shift things about a bit. I also only made the sand about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch deep with this issue in mind.

I gave the two chain loach away, lost a kuhli loach (it got inside my permanent ph tester and got stuck and died. No neons yet, still deciding between them and rummy noses oh and my L191 plec arrived

About time that I updated this one once more Will have to get the other tanks uploaded one day.

Oh well, a few more months down the line, we now have this.......or we did until my lights blew

Need to get myself a bit of backing on it too.
