They do exist, they arent as common as the platies though. Platies and Swordtails are genetically almost indistinguishable. With the MM pattern almost over-saturating the market now in platies I wouldnt be surprised if some lfs are selling the sword versions but they dont look quite as good...

Well, left the fish room for 30 min today and came back to 8 or 9 new Endler fry I wasnt expecting. These females must be very young because none of them looked ready to pop. They look like small guppy fry no surprise, can't wait to see how fast the buggers will grow.

They came from a tank of mixed males and females which was the reason for my concern that they werent at least a little plump. Im feeding them a little more frequently though to see if maybe they just need some tlc.
