Endler/guppy Hybrids

I read that crossing endlers and guppies produces sterile offspring, is this true? If not, is a male guppy / female endler combo ok or should it always be a male endler female guppy cross due to the size difference?

No, they're not sterile.

No it's not true thats why 95% of shop endlres are crosses as they grow faster and have more colour!!!!!

True endlers are very rare still and should be got from a breeder if you want to be sure they are true.

I have 10 true Endlers now, I am trying to start a small colony first, but once that is done I was thinking of experimenting with crossing them to get a larger version of the males or at least some really interesting babies.

95% of fish are already guppy crosses i could try to say if you can get a pic, but true endlers are rare and would advise not crossing. As if sold in the feature as true endlers (not saying you but someone your sell them to) and the put them with teue endlers they will corrupt the line.

So please dont, how ever check out tiger endlers x guppies, their nice fish.

Sorry about the quality, taken on a cell phone and stupidly during the daytime when they were all active, but I think it's pretty clear theyre Endlers anyways. Maybe you could help me determine the variety from the picture though? They were simply sold as Endler's Livebearers and I didnt think to ask at the time. I dont mean to do uncontrolled breeding between the two species or anything, but once I have enough pure Endlers to keep the strain going, Id like to see what I can get out of Endlers and guppies. Down the road, I may not even be able to get more of these guys to keep the gene pool varied and would be forced to cross with other Endlers or guppies anyways just for some diversity. Anyways, your thoughts?

can you set your auto zoom on your phone? its set on auto background, which is why the background and the cords and such are clear and the fish are blurry.
