I have never heard of it Are you thinking about a python? a python will connect to the tap and fill/siphon the tank but not automatically, you have to start/stop it.

If you have a bigger budget I would go for an eheim rather than fluval, fluval tend to loose their flow rate and break down more, hence why they are cheaper.

Your tank is WAY over stocked. It is good to overstock mbuna a bit but that is way too many fish
