I was thinking instead of the 2 apistogramma could i have 3 or 4 honey gourami (1 male the rest female)

I am thinking of buying apistogramma agassizii

So i guess i will be getting the apistogramma, i really hope they dont bully the corys

I think the angelfish is going to go, and the keyhole cichlid grow to big so i think i will keep a pair of apistogramma with the cardinal tetra. At the moment it is a 100 litres with 5 cardinal and 4 julii cory i am going to up the numbers. so will the apistogramma be fine in the tank?

I come home, to find that some guy who has brought fish of me before has given me an angelfish.Its body is the size of a £2 coin. So i have some julii cory and cardinal tetra which range from 2-3 cm. will  the angelfish eat the tetra?   While where here can i keep keyhole cichlid or apistogramma...

You could go with guppy, but i would recommend having a shoaling fish, group of corys.   so 6 emerald corys      10 rummynose tetra

I think about 6 yoyo loach would be good as they like being in groups. Also have a large shoal of tiger barbs (mixing the albino,green and normal tiger barbs look awesome).   I am not sure about adding any thing else as the above is really pushing the stocking

my local maidenhead aquatics is about 10 miles away, and i just called my nearest shop and they had some rummynose in finally  so i guess i will pick them up on the weekend.   Problem solved i guess i just had to wait a few weeks for them (it gave me time to think about my stock)

I will try one more week.... and if they still cant be ordered in i will get cardinals but the problem is there is 3 in my tank from before and they are getting lonely

That's alot of tanks, how would they feed the fish, it must take ages, how do they remember which fish is where?   How long would it take to go look though all the tanks?

I have been trying to order in rummynose from my two nearest LFS but neither can find them the suppliers are saying that they are out of season. So one tried to order them in direct from aboard but still no luck. I have waited a month or two.   So i need to find another shoal in tetra i was...

It certainly does look like a dario dario but not sure what the mark is, u sure its not damaged scales

I just picked up  few female betta as a centrepiece fish for my 20 gallon aquarium.They seem ok with my rummynose and julii cory. so have i made the right decision as the other alternative was a Bolivian ram?

I think if they where kept in tanks they would have the capability of escaping, so mermaid probably would escape if kept in tanks..

so the fish are ok, as i read they should not be kept with cardinal tetra as they could be snack,   also are Bolivian rams hard to keep as on some sites it says they need perfect water. Also i read about German rams what the difference between the 2

I have a 25 gallon aquarium i have decide to have a shoal of Rummynose and a shoal of Julii cory and i want a large fish to be the main fish that stands out. I was thinking of something either than a betta or honey gourami.

They might be under a different name as there are a few different types of dwarf cory. If you cant find them you could always choose panda corys they dont get bigger than 5cm.

i dont know what it does guessing it absorbs and distributes the weight evenly, however i lot of websites and books recommend it.So you could just cut it so it is not easily seen or just simply paint it

I was on a website and it says that betta are not recommend with clown pleco so is this true or false?

I dont use gravel any more, just dont like it, its sand from now on,

I guess i will take my time to decide i will definitely have a shoal of corys

I have one question can a male betta live with cardinal tetra

whenever i have only 1 species the tank seems bare imo

would they be ok in a 30 gallon aquarium

so ... I think I should have larger shoal size . I dont know the tank size but i know it will have 1 of the following options     1. 10 rummynose tetra      10 cardinal tetra   2. 8 harlequin rasbora     8 cardinal tetra     8 rummynose tetra   Which option is best for the fish but adds colour...

Its hard to choose as i would prefer 5 each of a few species together so there is a contrast of colour but the fish would prefer just 1 large group

i always thought it face the other way, that when in bigger groups they shoal closer.So will my harlequin be ok in five as i dont really want to add any more.

thanks for the options but he is know eating the food i guess he just needed to build his confidence up.
