try adding some bristlenose plecs i have to and never see any algea they are like hoovers for the stuff. also make sure ur tank is not in to much sunlight. and finnaly try covering ur tank up for a few days with a sheet and turning the lights off because algea need light to grow

i am not planning any more fish for a while but when i do how many more should i be looking at adding before i overstock because i have know idea now the inch to gallon theory has gone out the window

i have been doing a 30% change and gravel vac every week and the nitrates havent been high. so like i said i know there is now problems there i was just unsure how many inch i can get in my tank before its overstocked

yeah i thought things were going abit strange first couple of weeks of cycling but soon started to settle and go as i was expecting it to havent had any problems with it since. hopefully it will stay the same.

i have a fluval 305 (thinking of adding another external) it currently turns about 1000 lph i think. i also have circulation adequate for a 500l aquarium to accomodate for the denisons. i want 4 ideally if i keep on top of my tank maintanence is this a possiblilty or would it be pushing it abit?

yes thats right my 55g tank went along perfectly just as i thought it would i knew the 10g wouuld be a little more complicated but think its a little to long with little progress the fish have been in there 4 weeks maybe even 5
