They Cant Be Happy Here :(

I have never seen a pet place that keeps bettas in larger containers than that, sadly. It really isn't that bad since the water is clean

Would the filter in one of these...http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/group/22430/product.web be ok for a betta? Or would I be fine just using something like this http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/group/14360/product.web without a filter and light? Thanks!

    Going To College

I'm going to college next fall, and I am allowed to have fish. However, I can only have a 5g (and under) and it cannot have a heater. I was wondering what my options were - I know bettas (which I do like) but I just wondering what else I could have. And tank suggestions would be great :)

    female

it also depends on what size tank you have them in. For example I have two female bettas in a 10 gallon (along with 3 rasboras and an algae eater). They fought for the first few days than got along fine. I guess I got lucky with two good-tempered ones.

    10 gallon

its a chinese algae eater, and it already is pretty big. As for the bettas, i ended up with two mild ones, and they never fight or bother the other fish.

    10 gallon

[FONT=Impact][COLOR=blue]I have a ten gallon tank. In it I have two female bettas, three harlequin rasboras and an algae eater. Is this a good amount of fish or could I add something more? Thanks for the help! :D
