lcnva.....how often does your blue crayfish molt? I have had min for about two months and he molted about a week after i got him. Mine is more blue and not a cool shade like yours. Does yours come out during the day? mine just goes in his burrow under my driftwood.

dwarf cichlids stay s,mall( rams, kribs etc.) they look cool ......some are all right and some are a little aggressive....sometimes its a gamble.

I have an aquaclear 150 on my 20 and 15 gallon tanks and they work awesome....and the replacement filter media is cheap and everyone has it. It only costs 8 bucks canadian to replace carbon and foam, and ammonia filter.

you could try that ...,if that doesnt work...maybe try a little crushed coral...add small amont till you get desired ph

Well if the water is fine and hje si healthy i have no idea. Is the tank getting warm due to summer weather? Maybe he is getting bored .....get him a friend maybe?

I have a spare tank with just a ight across and no hood it loses about an inch of water a week through evaporation. If a tank has a hood it wont lose as much.

males are just aggresive towards females.... Get a few more females to distribute the aggression more so one is not pick on very much.

i found some nice red pumice in the mountains today but im worried that it is to soft for my tank. Has anyone used it. I know it is an igneous rock but its so soft. Will it be fine? :unsure:

I agree and those fish would never last long in a 5 gal tank. 50 bucks for the kit......the fish ar eworth way more than the kit

I wouldn't suggest moving the snails unless you want a few hundred of them in there. They are very hard to get rid of them all. Imo i would take out those clams and throw them away. They will probably begin to stink real bad and the water will just get worse.
