Good luck with your current batch! As you mentioned that you have bred kribs before, can I possibly ask you a question. My pair currently have babies. They're out of their little cave, and parents take turns watching them. Could you give me any tips to help them survive? I'm very new to this...

I'd go with lack of oxygen also. Get an air pump/stone in there! Can't hurt :)

Okay so apparantly my platys have a swim bladder problem. Which makes alot of sense. Unfortunately not much I can do about it, so I'm told. But if anyone has any suggestions or experience in this, please let me know.

Another platy gone. It's like they lose all coordination. They cant balance themselves to swim right.

Yeh, shouldn't be causing them to die. They've always been kept at 26, but it's raised a little bit with the hot weather. But it's been at 26.5 for probably as month now. So the sudden temp change couldn't be killing them, and even so, it's only half a degree lol.:) They haven't been exposed to...

Well I think maybe, this was a false alarm. He seems much better today, swimming around the tank and eating. Maybe he was just having an off day? Either way, thank you all for your speedy replies and help :)

Thanks for your reply. It is my only fish acting like this. His scales don't look like they are sticking out. Although he is looking a bit better today, he was swimming around a bit and ate. So hopefully that is a good sign!

Hey guys, just another thought. How would Firemouths go with Platies, Hengle Rasbora and Black Neons? Basically just curious if the FM's will be aggresive towards them as I doubt any of these guys would bother the FM's?
