I am very much a city person however I love farm animals and stuff so I thought I would share.

First up, the pumpkin. As you can tell from the writing, it weighed 230kg....MASSIVE...its hard to imagine the size in this photo...it was too hard to get other shots cause there were so many people

Straw Man.....he was HUGE as well....I would estimate maybe 5 meters....he even moved...that ism sat up and laid back down and you could see his chest move as he breathed....

Spider and other critters.....I found a few oter critters in this pic but the hand made spider was pretty awesome I thought...

Woken up chook/rooster.....I am pretty sure this is a rooster (someone correct me if wrong)....it was asleep with its head poking out of the cage till I took the photo....then it tried to attack me!!!

Duck....this duck was for sale. I was going to ask the price but it might have been too tempting....

I am pretty sure it is a wood duck

And last but not least a horse. I have no idea what kind of horse, to me it is a brown horse

This horse won some major prize...like best horse in show or something....the girl next to it won best female horse rider or something...and she is aged like 11!!!! Her riding skills were absolutely amazing.....

Perhaps someone can answer this....on the horses they had made the bit on the rump?? like just before the tail on the side kinda, into a pattern kinda thing. All the horses had different patterns....what is the purpose of this? For some it was criss crossed, for some it was a fishbone thing for some it was checkered....

Just curious

they are called quarter marks... They are just for looks. What you do is buy this little plate of plastic with patterns cut into it and put it on your horse and backbrush the hair.
Beautiful braiding too, that must have taken a while!!
Oh yes, you should see some of the little pony clubbers... I know one, she's a pistol!
