LMO-Just out of curiousity, how does the way Vixen dresses,or anyone else for that matter, have anything to do with you? She didn't post this asking opinions on her choices, but on which picture people like best. It is very close minded to judge an entire group of people based on your limited knowledge or actions of a few. Exact attitude that has perpetuated racism and discrimination in the world for ages.

You've posted your picture in your profile and in rogues so by your logic I suppose you are open to opinions on your appearence? Lets just say....You have no room to talk.

Looks like you could do with a bit of sun love.

Listen, I am sure behind all that paint and pony show you are a very intelligent and attractive person. Why not let that person shine though. Instead of trying to catch a little attention the wrong way, demand it by being yourself. Don't be a sheep, be the shepherd!

What if she is being herself? Who decided that looking like everyone else is what "beauty" is? Wouldn't being under that impression be a sheeply rather than shepherdly quality?

Art history is full of artists who were desperately trying to get away from the perpetuated "Greek beauty" they thought was creating stagnation in the art world and holding them back from what other things could be explored. Fashion and makeup have followed suit in many different eras.

It has nothing to do with her personally, I just think she would look much better if she was natural looking.

Natural looking is bags under the eyes, hair all tangled and messy, body hair all over the place, etc. Modern grooming is an inherently unnatural look for humans.

I've known a lot of "goths" in the past and I haven't met a single one like what that link described. Not one. You can't blame her for a caricature/generalization you're letting yourself believe about people she resembles.

Vixen - I also don't particularily like the goth look, but if it's what you want and you're happy, you do it! What shines through the make up is that you're a pretty girl anyway.

woh i missed a load of cofrentation.....

love my oscar just to make it clear... i like dressing in this fashion because i like to be myself and unique and NOT follow the 'townie' crowd like normal people, i think i would prefer to dress the way i do than in tight tops and belts for skirts like most the people around here( i was not pointing fingers at anybody who does, just saying i dotn like to)

ALSO i do wear colours i wear pink/blue/purple/white/green/beige!!!!!! so if that surprises you its because you havent seen my previous posts of myself in those colours and looking 'normal' < i hate that word!


Why should we all assume that just becuase someone dresses out of the ordinary that they are depressed or attention seeking when really its just what that person likes in colothing!!

FYI that was the first time i ever tried doing my make-up in that way to see how it would look, then after i decided to take a pic or two and compair the black and white to the colour and see peoples opinions... except i didnt expect the kind of stereotyping opinions i got!!!!
