Did you actually read it all? It says that not ALL are like that.

It was not meant to be offensive, it is simply how I feel about the goth craize going on right now. (It's called an opinion, if it offends you that I spoke the truth about how I feel, well I am sorry, but you are not going to like everything in this world. If you don't want to know what people think, then don't post in a public forum where you will get opinions.) I personally feel that people that dress like you do and act 'goth' are only hiding.

I have read that most goths dress the way they do because they feel they are misunderstood. Well all people are misunderstood and taken for granted. It is just the ways of this world. I see goth as just a way to get attention. The only problem with it is most of the time is it negative attention. Why would you want that for yourself?

Listen, I am sure behind all that paint and pony show you are a very intelligent and attractive person. Why not let that person shine though. Instead of trying to catch a little attention the wrong way, demand it by being yourself. Don't be a sheep, be the shepherd!

I pose to you a challenge of sorts. Post a pic of yourself as you are naturally (meaning no goth stuff) and let everyone see the person behind the mask. :)

Whoa....hardcore.

Where did all that come from?
There may be the slightest chance that people dress like that because they like it and it makes them feel good about themselves. Its their personality shining through. If 'goths' and that were bothered about what other people thought they wouldnt dress the way they do.

I cant see how it changes a person. I bet if you bothered to get to know Vixen before posting stuff like that your opinion may be different.
But if a person is close minded enough to say stuff like that in the first place and then try and make it 'ok' by doing it on a public forum then the chances are pretty slim.

Vixen is the lovliest person with a long leather coat you could ever meet :)

PS, I prefer the black and white ones Vixen.

For your information, I was not saying anything bad about vixen, only about her lifestyle. I don't like the goth look. It has nothing to do with her personally, I just think she would look much better if she was natural looking. You are reading text on a screen, stop reading more into it than what is there. :p

And to your point about dressing goth making people feel better, well that has been proven wrong. Dressing in a depressing way makes you look negatively at things. Color has a lot to do with emotions. For example, red is a sexy color. Most times if a woman dresses in red she will feel more sexy. Blue is a calming color, white is a cleansing or pure color (this is why Brides wear white) etc. Dressing in black depresses people. I did a whole presentation on the effects of color on human emotion. (Not to mention many many scientists have before)

Also, I am not closed-minded. I just don't like the goth look. I am sure there are things in this world that you don't like. Does that mean you are close-minded? Chances are no. It just means you are different than others.

That's you in your profile wearing part of a black shirt, isn't it? ;)
