Yes, I know.... Ive learned that from more than a year of research, getting the tank but not able to set it up due to having to finish that room, and waiting for a cycle to start... I think I can wait 24 hours

No. You add the full dose then test daily if ammonia is under 0.25 and nitrite under 1ppm you add the full dose of ammonia again. If either ammonia or nitrite is over them figures you leave it. If they are both zero you are done. Full instructions below which might be easier to follow.@Slaphppy7 and @xxBarneyxx I have a question when I get to the last stage... How does the last stage work? I add 3ppm of ammonia and then I keep testing until its zero and vuala its finished?

Stage 3 - Daily Testing – Test Ammonia and Nitrite.
Is Ammonia Under 0.25ppm and Nitrite Under 1ppm – If Yes, add full Ammonia dose and continue daily testing.
You may have to do this a few times.
Is Ammonia and Nitrite Zero – If Yes, Your cycle is finished. Do a large water change and you can now add fish
If Ammonia and Nitrite read anything else wait and repeat this step every day.

Well its been a lot of talking as well lolI'm pleased that your cycling is going so well, and it has only taken 179 posts to get this far. You never know you may have fish in your tank before Christmas
They will...maybe not "soon", but they will...remember the old phrase...I took one pic with flash (the bottom one) and one without (the top one)... My nitrites still seem to be VERY high... Hopefully they come down soon
