Your House Pics

Loving this thread. I love seeing the different styles of houses (and im also really nosey so like seeing the insides as well :) ).

Havent got any photos of the outside of my house but will get some soon (and of the view, I live about 200ft away from a castle and the beach is just a 2 minutes walk up the road :) ).

Got some photos of my place from about 2 days after I first moved in (so still a few packing boxes sitting around and no curtains up in the living room).

Heres an example of typical housing stock in older midwest and northeast cities. This particular one is from a real estate website. I live in Buffalo where the economy is sadly way behind the rest of the country. A house like this in the city of Buffalo, a city of 300,000. A house like this, around 2400sq ft would cost around $30,000 US. Which is about the cost of a typical 4 door car. A new Mercades here will cost you about $50 thousand US. Its not all like Los Angeles mates.

Any questions?!?!

Gotta love the housing market in western new york.... houses in the city here in rochester depending what part of the city can be 30-40,000 for 4000+sq ft houses.... a typical 1500 sq ft house in the burbs goes for about 80,000 though so its primarily the city that has the really low values.... honestly, i think some of the prices the rest of the country pays for similar sized houses is ridiculous, even if you are earning more money, especially in texas or california where the markets are way overpriced IMO.

lol $80k, its even worse in the UK mate. A typical (small) 2 bedroom house is going to cost you at least £110,000 (about $164,000) much more then that if its in a city and that's for something that's really basic. Just not really worth buying property in the UK at the moment.

In perspective,... That means I will pay approximately R1, 650,000 (S.A. Rand) and if you buy a house in South Africa at the equivalent cost, R1.65milj, will be a reasonable mansion... The average 2 bedroom around here in the cities would be in the region of R 850,000, which would be $85,000 or 57,000 pounds......

A place for everything, and everything in its place... (except for the pair of size 10 shoes below the microwave)..... Very effective Christmas atmosphere you've created here... It all looks cosy.

Ok, its my turn. I have been meaning to post photos of my house up for a while but I have never gotten around to it.

Off the back deck in the day for once.

house005.jpg

Again in her playpen

house001.jpg

Again with my fiancé Rachel.

There is a 1,800 sq ft basement that is unfinished with 3 bedrooms, sitting area, full bath, laundry room, and an office. Also the basement has it's own personal deck area.

The whole house put together is 3 levels 3,200 sq ft.

Excuse the horrible quality photos, I just got this camera (Fujifilm FinePix S700) and have not figured it out yet.

Yes JB... a Place is never messy.... It just looks lived in....... Some places are so tidy, you feel compelled to leave your shoes at the front door when entering.... Bud Light!!... Bud Light???.... Oh!... That's for the Fiancee, (I assume)..... Nice pad.

Hers's our pad.......

I can make out the front pad must be an Audi, and the back pad looks like a peugout!???... Very nice house as well.
