Chlorine doesn't bother me- I don't go swimming much, and it might dry my hair out a bit, but the effects are minimal. I'm much more concerned with the physical debris in public pools (which is why I refuse to use most)- hairs, dirt, other skanky stuff.

You want to try doing SCUBA divigin in one. nothing like watching a plaster float past as you replace the DV back in your mouth...
