Yf Can Taste The Salt..

YF, you are more likely to get the SG you want from this guy than a lfs - just ask him to make it up to 1.026 :good: as that is what my lr, frags, snails etc are used to, it sometimes goes up a bit when it evaporates but never goes below 1.025

Its a different guy now.
The guy from melton let me down, I think he realised he done it at a bargain.
Im still watching his 10kg though, I will get my dad just to bid on it if its a bargain.

YF

well he sells it at 5 pounds a kg still but oh well

I think im getting 125l off this guy, £3 for 25l of salted.
Which is half the price I was going to pay.
I also went and bought a InstantOcean Hydrometer today.
It says I have to have it in saltwater 48 hours before use.
So in around an hour im nipping up to my girlfriends uncles, and putting it in his saltwater.
Then it should be ready for next weekend.
Also, Im going to play with my stocklist abit.
I fell in love with the fiji Damsels and Red Spot Flymo.
Anyone have experiance with these?

YF

stay away from the damsel - aggresive little b........., although i know Buddy keeps one successfully - so see what he has to say :good:

I don't know anything about the Blenny so would have to look it up, but usually blennies are lovely little fish

I did look at another damsel, the guy told me to go for the fiji its less agressive.
However he did tell me to add it last.
But im going for a peaceful tank, so I will take that off my list.
I carnt wait to visit my girlfriends uncle's tank.
Im going to help him out abit, hes got bad hair algea.
I will take a few photos might direct him to this forum.
The guy in the shop told me I want to aim for about 1.024 salt.
But im going to go for 1.026, just for your mummy marine.
