Very nice leopoldis. i always think they look more cichlid like tan other angels.....if thats possible :S

well a 100 mile round trip and i came home with 4 x wild peru red spotted 'altum' scalare angelfish, and they are stunning

i wanted all 8 but didnt have the funds im affraid

ive added them in this tank to see how they get on with the 8 x Leopoldi as they are all still small juvi fish. any bother and the naughty fish will share the tank with the stingrays for now :hey:

pics later after they have settled and the lights are on ;)

the new angels have settled in very well. i tested the water from the supplier and it was almost an identical match to mine so that was a bit of a relief as they are wild caught.

they do however have much longer fins and a few have been nipped by the looks of it  i guess its just adding new angels to an existing group.

overall very happy with them so far :D

Nice tank and fish, but any chance of getting pics of the two Chaetostoma sometime? My C. milesi female (that came from MartinS about 5 weeks ago) is a real fiesty character, she is the only fish in my Rio240 that my boisterous Steatocranus tinanti male is submissive too!

the wild angels have started competing for the food now which is a great sign as the leopoldi are a bit fiesty and greedy.
