What Lurks In The Not Dark Places

ammonia is on its way down!! at the weekend i hope to be able to get a koralia nano and some cuc in

Blimy, you should see the stuff that's growing on my bit of rock! EWWWW!

So long as it's not growing giant tentacley worms and the like it should be beautiful, now "ewww"! Love thy sludge and slime...or let the CUC love it for you I guess.

What's wrong with giant worms? It's the black, bubbly, gaseous slime I dislike.... My cuc is gonna have it's work cut out for it lol.

Certain giant worms I have known were a bit too enthusiastic towards human hands.

BLACK slime? That's a new one to me.

Today I poured in a load of cuc, namely hermits, nassarius snails and asteria (I think) also a some feeder shrimp.. I use feeders when I set up a new tank as they are cheap (10p) so I cab bung loads in, they eat anything and when the tanks clear they feed my bigger fish :)

Cruel but economic

 just worked out I have over 60x turnover in the tank.

Oh alright, I will play

350 litres (50 litres out for rock)

Magnum 8 12500
Magnum 4 x 2 10400

= 22900 an hr

which is:

65.5 turnover ..............

I'm away to take out a K4 :look:

Seffie x

well the cuc is doing a mighty fine job but sadly the skimmer dies for some reason (i think it may be to big for the tank) so i am not going to bother with it... means a few less pumps in tank i suppose and water changes are pretty easy, 1 jug out, 1 jug in :)

just added a small branching hammerhead, a tiny acro frag i got for £2 and another kind of sps that is supposed to be bulletproof but i forgot the name :)

pics soon

i may of purchased a 56 litre tank to use rather than this cube.... i may also be pulling my aquarays out of the main tank and bodging them into this 56l tank....

when will this end!
