I didn't notice a price on the tank. I hope that's not a bad sign haha. I decided I'm going to call them in the morning, see if they still have him, find out how much he is, and ask if they'll hold him till I get out of work. I talked with one of the owners today (its a husband and wife that own it) and she was very nice and very helpful, so I'm hoping she'll be willing to hold him for a few hours.

Okay I just got off the phone with the LFS a few minutes ago (they open at noon, but their phone was busy for the first 20 minutes).

He was still there (at least I hope the guy understood which one I was talking about!)!! And get this, I asked how much he was ... he's $3.95! Insane!

The guy is holding him for me till I get off work. It's Friday and the office is slow so I'll probably leave a bit early anyway. I'm soo excited. I'll try to take more pics and post them later after he's settled in his new home.

Haha yeah I think I'll be fine.

I'm excited. Now I'm trying to recall what the other bettas they had looked like -- the one I'm getting caught my eye so much that I kind of didn't even look at the others. I think this LFS is going to be my new "treasure-hunting" place ... beautiful bettas at really great prices. I'll have to ask if they get them from a local breeder or something

My male got all beaten up n has fins so short he looks like a female now. They are growing back though now but he looks so unwell and depressed stop tauntin me u dirty man

I get to the LFS and I see the one owner and I start to say, "Hi I called earlier about --" and she goes, "The betta, right? I wasn't sure which red, white and blue one you were talking about, so I put them both aside for you!"

There were TWO! I hadn't seen the second one yesterday. Of course, I couldn't decide, so I brought BOTH home. Haha so this is how it starts....

Their bags are floating in the tanks right now, but I'll take pics as soon as they're settled in.
