A plant and another plant, like you.

I took my mum shopping (shes a nightmare unless she chooses lol) and got her a watch & a handbag. I then went and bought her a plant thing and some choccys.

i made my mum a card with a puffin feeding its chick with a speech bubble saying "it aint half hard raising kids" lol and i got her a few nice bits of crystal and a amethyst rabbit.

i got mine a nice piece of poole pottery, since its down the road from me and strange as it must seem, a new carpet for her spare bedroom

My mum died six years ago, put some flowers on her grave.

its nice to see that we all still care, i worked in nursing homes for a few years as a chef and it was surprising how many mothers never saw their family once they got there.
Mine has been my rock for the most recent years and at one point she saved my life and supported me endlessly through some very painful years, i owe her everything. and love her to bits. she was making a joke about getting old, my mum lives on welsh border and my sister said when she needed looking after she was gunna put her in a home in north scotland (humour intended ofcourse) it was very funny when it was said, my brother said he was gunna move to new zealand and i told her i was gunna sell her to the highest bidder on ebay......she laughed so much we thought she was gunna pass out. im so glad i have my mums sense of humour, wouldnt want to be any other way

Got my mother in law a huge plant pot that she saw the other day when out with me...

...and I, as a mum too, received a girl's best friend.....FISH :D plus we all went out for a Thai meal together

I'm really skint at the moment  , so I painted loads of those wooden IKEA photo frames all colours of the rainbow and printed off some cute pics of my little girl....I did buy her a proper b'day present last week though, so I'm not a total cheapskate!!!

i made my mum a card and instead of buying her a present, i donated £30 to Comic relief! she loved the idea, so every1 was happy! :good:
