What Background Do You Prefer?

Well, I bought a blue/black background today. I have the blue part showing and I love it! The contrast of the blue against the green plants looks amazing! They even gave me a little extra and I also did my 10 gallon tank as well. I'll have to post pics.

3D backgrounds are the best in my opinion, some of the tanks with these look like they are a chunk out of the environment. If you're looking for a show tank then I'd definately suggest having a 3D background.

If I ever win the lottery I'm getting a 'Back to Nature' background, then I'll only have to win the lottery twice more to afford one

Of course if you have DIY skills theres always the option of making one yourself. A few articles such as THIS, THIS, or THIS would be a good start.

Those are awesome! I'll definitely have to do this one day when I buy another tank. Just not enough space or money

i like a fish scene, but with no fish in the backround. just plants and stuff

I've got a solid black backround with a pale coloured sand subtrate, IMO it looks reaaly good, brings out the colours of the fish superbly.
