Well, it kind of felt like that, but it wasn't really.

I dodged a proverbial bullet yesterday with my manifold. In a moment of distraction, with too many things going on in my head, I decided to spray paint the manifold black so it wouldn't show up so much. Almost immediately I realized I had goofed badly--I had no idea whether Krylon Fusion, the particular black spray paint we happened to have in the house, was OK for inside a fish tank. This morning I did a little reading and found out that it is indeed both approved for aquatic use and safe for fish, once fully cured. Whew.

Right now I'm holding a carpenter bee... His whole hive got flooded and as far as I know only two survived... But my dog killed one
He likes resting on hand and I've tried to put him elsewhere but he just wants to stay on my hand...

I now have him in a jar with paper towels at the bottom so he can get dry and thwn fly out when he wants to.
