Yesterday my long awaited betta came! I have christened him Anakin. He's a black and white samurai betta.
If he jumps out of the tank I can say "Anakin nooooo!"

Bass, blue gill, gar, spotted trout (when their migrating), channel cats, blue cats... Lots of cats

Yes it's a river. Both sides there is a curve though. This river is very long.

Ya, I seem to be in old stuff mode and have been for a while. In fact I'm reading an old Sci-FY series written in the 1950's by E. E. (Doc) Smith PHD called either Galactic Patrol or The Gray Lensman depending on the parts of the series. Doc Smith is often refered to as the father of space operas. Science is totally off the wall but they are fun.

Older Sci Fi is an interesting challenge. Sometimes it holds up well but some stories become dated. Enjoyed a revisit to Ringworld etc recently. Sector General series may be the oldest I have entertained.

LOL! If you think stuff from the 1950's is old you should see the book I have of Sci-FY short stories from the 1880's-1890's. Now those are a challenge!
