What are you doing today?

Today I fixed An old 2 wheel luggage cart that was stuck closed for years and the wheels where also jammed. After fidgeting a while I was able to crack it open and weld it in place without breaking anything. I never trashed it because it's simply too thick, you can move furniture's around with it.

Looking closer at the wheels that looks like new, I found that this thing was running on 4 Roller blades bearings... No wonder why it was so good. After a quick search in the shop I found leftovers of a box of Bones Reds... Loll... It's going to last forever...

Since I don't travel anymore, I had another mission in mind for it... After some more fidgeting I turned it Into an ultimate central vacuum caddyshack. With a plate of steel, plywood, some rubber hose Available fasteners.

And smacked a brand new Beam on it.

Bye bye dyson...

Going to Budapest tomorrow for a few days break. Getting a few last things together and arranging family to feed my tanks

Hoping to get time to visit Green Aqua.

I often wish I lived in Europe for that ease of travel to really different cultures. I hope you're not flying Ryan Air or one of the budget airlines, or you'll have to tape fish bags all over yourself to get past the luggage rules!

Finished.

Edit: Just noticed, loll... It's even a perfect color match !!!

Took two Moms to brunch. Lazed around in the pond house all afternoon with a book.
What do you read? I'm mostly sci-FY and fantasy. I read pretty constantly. In fact I soaked today in a hot salted bath reading for a couple of hours. Actually I do a lot of my reading in a bath tub. After a reading bath I still have to take a shower to get rid of the crud that has left my body while soaking.

I actually had plans for today which I have to skip now. For this morning I had to go to the hospital because of a vascular problem. And I'm not allowed to lift things and neither to do much physical activity. So, I'm just sitting at home and check my e-mails and so on. And enjoying this sunny day...

Spent the morning rushing round.
Husband is due to have a tooth removed tomorrow but needed to check if it was still OK with the meds he was prescribed Saturday evening at Urgent Care (gout in left index finger got very painful, prescribed colchicine and doxycycline) - it is OK so that'll go ahead. Then the GP as Urgent Care said to get his uric acid level checked asap. That's booked for Thursday.

Then back home to clean the house and sort out the spare bedroom. Husband's brother phoned at 10.30 last night to say he was coming to visit us. He said he'd tell us this morning which train he would be on (arriving 3 pm or 4 pm) but as usual no phone call. We have no idea which train to meet and we only get 20 minutes free parking. We can't call him as he turns his phone off when he's not making a call. My husband has told him at least twice before that it inconvenient for us not knowing when he's arriving but it doesn't seem to have registered with him. He'll just have to wait for us to get to the station once he does phone.
He has the choice of 2 routes; one arrives at the station 5 minutes away, the other at station 25 minutes away. He won't use the nearest one as "he doesn't know what the station he'd have to change at is like"

At the funeral home planning a.funeral, not mine. Then home to scrape algae and do a water change.
Your post reminded me I have to purchase two funeral plots for my wife and I. I keep putting it off.
