How do you tell the males apart at that age? Aggression or ventrals?

Well you can see the size of the anal fin and the aggression and vents

The first sign for me was. The aggression split them up and the second sign was the bubble nests that where made by some and the last sign was the long fins (all fins beside pec fins)
I have to admit I thought it woul have been difficult determining what sex they where but I found it quite easy to tell

Congrats I remember my first batch, had to be atleast over 60 swimming little fries but half died during the first week. Thinking about getting back into breeding bettas
