Anna,I see your point. And while I understand your dismay at the way living things are treated at times, I am also a realist.
This is a big world, with a great appetite. Many of us enjoy meat in our dinners. This requires the killing of another living thing. Sometimes this may not be done as humanely as possible, I agree. The end result however, is death.
The world could stand some improvements, lord knows. But those improvements are beyond our reach.
