just got the new 14k 250w bulbs in, as well as some more back lighting, 4x65w pcs in a reflector from an old fixture, all the lights are mounted inside the canopy..i also repainted the canopy for a better finish, and added some corner trim on the tank!

BIG colony of xenia, started out with only 1 mounted stalk 6 months ago...

Mixed soft corals..frogspawn, xenia, green star polyps, zoanthids, mushrooms

What's that long fish, the one in the middle?

^interesting story on that one..its a "slippery dick" wrasse. I found him flopping around in a small puddle at low tide near a rocky bank along a local inlet along with a couple other different kinds of fish. i think the high tide brought the fish in over a manmade wall, and when the tide went out back over the wall the fish didnt make it and got trapped in the puddle which was getting smaller and smaller by the minute. i found him just in time because there were 2 dead blennies and 2 dead puffers around the same puddle and the wrasse was on its side not fully submerged.
