Undecided What Fish To Get

hi all i have a 55 gallon aquarium with 4 danio 2 platy 1 weather loache and 2 fancy goldfish just wondering what type of fish to go for next my tank is 1 year matured all systems are go for about a few up to 6 inch fish

Given your current stocking, you want to be looking at fish that enjoy 18-20C temps with some current

As regards your current fish, you could do with getting some same species danios to up their numbers to 6+ (or even 8+ in a nice big tank like yours), while your Weather Loach would enjoy the company of at least five others (I have eight, but I also have them in a 5-footer and your 4-footer is going to be rather cramped for a ~25cm adult).

yes i have a heater in their i did have 9 danios but my goldfish et 5 of them so was looking for bigger fish i dont want any more weather loaches

What temp have you set that heater at?

If your goldfish has eaten some of the danios, would it not be kinder to seperate the poor little fish from your goldfish, even if that means taking them to a fish store if nobody local can adopt them?

A single Weather Loach is not likely to be content, so perhaps this should be put up for adoption too.

the goldfish that had them for dinner is dead and my weather loache seems happy enough and my temp is 20c
