Finally i have an update, sorry but ive been so busy with things ive not the time to get the update done! but to just clear some stuff up, these guys have lived pretty #40## long! they were both females, 1 died a few days ago and the second died today as she couldnt shed completely...
and a one of her out the water (i had to pull the skin of)
i wanted to look into how her mouthparts worked, they have always baffeled me!
but here is the other female,
so as you can already guess, they grew pretty large! i havent worked out there age yet but im sure ive broken a record lol heres some pictures of them digging and just swiming about in the tank,
so, this may be the end for these two guys but....they have layed thousands of eggs! and already the babys have hatched and are swiming about now
the idea is to change there diet and grow them bigger, i may also investigate landscaping in there tank lol
ive got loads of other pictures but i though they wouldnt be needed! so the date of death for the last girl was today thats the 26.03.10 the other female died 2 days ago, thats 24.03.10 time to go work out how long they lived...thanks for looking guys!
