Trial And Error

Tank is deceptively bigger than I had originally thought, yet still seems like I have no space. :/ the middle is very open, I guess it may change once the Blyxa grows in and up and the Vallis thickens up. Went with normal compost under the cat litter in the end as I already had some. The Apisto's may move in tonight dependant upon whether I can be bothered to take the mopani tank to bits to catch them!

Also made a new mix of yeast/sugar in one bottle which has upped the output a fair bit. :good:

Pics hopefully tonight. :)

Hi guys, just ploughed through 5 pages of innuendos and plant swapping comments...

The tip on the rotala (pruning it back) is great and I will try it in my tank.

The tank looks nice, I am only missing a bit of height differences at the moment.

Well the Apisto's are in!! Caught them in about 2 seconds without removing anything from the tank!

How the hell did you manage that? drug them to slow them down? lol

Yeah I know, got everything prepared to put all the wood in and then had to take it all back again!

Right, the picture is really poor as the tank is plagued by reflections due to it being by the window and typically it is now brighter outside than it has been all day!!!!! :shout:

Ok, so, here goes. Need advice more than ever now. Tank feels rather empty but it is choc-a-bloc with plants. Maybe it is height that i need in the middle? :dunno: Think i'm quite happy with the left hand side, just the rest i'm uncertain of.
