I understand this is a big concern on coral reefs like Scott Reef. Did you read the Greenpeace article about Scott Reef online? It baffles me why the state and federal governments are even allowing more oil and gas exploration considering what is happening to the planet (climate change caused by burning fossil fuels). They are such hypocrites and don't deserve to be in power. Yes we will do something about climate change (we will make it worse by letting massive companies continue destroying the planet just for a few dollars). And letting a company like woodside drill into a coral reef is just crazy.
Australia is surrounded by reefs and everything north or Perth and Sydney is coral reef, everything south is stony (rocky) reef. Up north the Indonesians have been stripping the reef of sea cucumber, shellfish, fish in general and even sharks and turtles. Throw in a mining company and you have nothing good eventuating from this. And the mining company doesn't exactly have a good reputation of caring for the environment.
It makes me sick what the government and rich people (not all rich) are doing to the planet.
The web address on the bottom of the picture (under the QR code) is wrong. Do not go to cccwa.org/save_scott_reef_fremantle because it doesn't exist. Someone stuck an extra c in it when they printed it.
This is the correct web address
