Today I Went To My Favourite Lfs And...

Buying a Hard Drive Data Transfer Cable is a waste of cash but yes they ARE compatible. You might of heard that because the Hard Drive in the Slim is actually a computer - type hard drive. All I did is hook up my 16 Gig Ipod and transfer everything onto it ( yall didnt know you could do that did ya ) then when I got the Slim I just hooked the Ipod to it and downloaded. It worked on everything besides my LIVE accounts but thats just a quick retrieval download with you password . I just wish it was possible to download music from an Ipod to an Xbox but NOOOOOO

EDIT::: OH by the way, if you guys are planning to trade in and have extra remotes, head phones, accessories KEEP THEM!!! Everything is compatible, when you trade a system in you need a controller with it so I traded in with my busted one and kept the good one.

I did not know that, now I do though! I really didn't think that wasn't option but wow... opened my eyes to the wondrous world of xboxs

LOL...

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I think Microsoft is trying to keep that fact a hush hush so people but extra crap... but ofcourse that doesnt work if you have like 60 Gigs of thing on there but all you need is a 60 Gig Ipod :hey:

got a beautiful dwarf gourami and a glass catfish.
my dad got 3 hermits and 2 turbo snails

Came home with the final two "Giant Otos" and two Golden Rabbit Snails!

I knew the new stuff worked and I also knew about the USB, im not to worried about saved content anyway I rarely play campaigns after have beat the game once through, and all purchased content you can force re-download using xbox.com. I'm just pondering the cost of 155 dollars when I need to be saving for a car

LMAO..... its worth it dude... maad quiet, more compact, plus its more vercitile

got to work! :fun:

I'm on work experience for 2 weeks at Maidenhead Aquatics!

...realized i'd forgotten my wallet so had to come home again. got home, made a cup of coffee then a customer phoned... i'm now meant to be dealing with her enquiry.. looks like the LFS will have to wait til tomorrow

...went to talk to the manager about ordering me in a couple more yoyo loaches... as I walked in the door, the supervisor in the store bascially flew to the door to meet me, explained that the manager was out, but that they'd "found" two of my 3 missing loaches from last weeks order. As she went to the tank to bag them for me, only one was able to be found. I ended up leaving with one yoyo loach, 6 serpae tetras, and a promise from the girl that she would personally find my yoyo loach (maybe even both of them!) and have him ready to leave with me on Friday.

..considering I went in just to place an order for fish, my parents were quite surprised when I showed up back at home with a bag of fishes. :p

that stinks, i hate waiting to go to my lfs

After my chat with "Hamfist" I decided to do a random trip down to Southern Aquatics in Cadnam after work today, where he bought his Neon Dwarf Rainbows recently for that might impressive new ND tank of his...

I've decided to play a game of Russian Roulette by buying four Barilius canerensis and three bakeri (or possibly dogarsighi, will need to wait until they settle in to be sure), in the hope they will bond with my two Opsarius.

I also bought three Steatocranus casuarius to go with my existing one, as all three shop ones were difficult to sex, due to undeveloped forehead humps and some damage to the spindly dorsal fin extensions exibited by males.

I may need to move my Yellowtails over to the Korrall60, if things look overcrowded and/or intimidating for them.

I need to keep a close eye on the Lionhead quartet.

I need to stop buying any more fish, with the exception of some Zebra Otos, until I'm sure what's going on with my two tanks, or I find a killer deal 5+footer for the bigger fish when they mature!
