OK :X :X
Today Im planning on buying some more plants for my aquarium.

Today i went to my LFS for Stress Court, but they happened to have a fluval FX5 so i bought it there, and canceled my order online, i also bought 8 Black Neon tetras.

Saw some albino Kribs, L47 Magnum Pleco, Giant Halfbeaks, Gold Stripe Cardinal Tetras, Scarlet Tetra (a black neon tetra but with a pink-red stripe) and an L75 :hyper:

bought some frozen 'greens'. Not seen this before, and will save me time mashing peas and spinach.

Came home with the final eight Filament Glassfish and a single Synodontis brichardi!

The glassfish have joined my Pearl Danios, Indian Red Tail Squirrel Loaches and Rabbit Snails in the Korrall60. I had a minor scare when one looked motionless behind the filter after a ~150 minute drip acclimitisation, but thankfully it slowly moved away when I rescued it and then seeked very happy to find its species mates. Really chuffed to get these guys, they are gorgeous to look at (and I believe they will inprove as they settle) and I'm aware they are not a very common fish to locate in the UK.
[I did try to re-introduce the Pearls back to the Rio240 yesterday, as the aggressive Hill Trout are now in the 540l, but it resulted in probably my worst experience in fish keeping. One of the ~5 month old fry had its head cleanly removed and an adult female has a really nasty injury (so far doing vert well considering the wound on her back and flanks, not very deep thankfully), presumeably inflicted by the same Lionhead cichlid pair. I felt so guilty for moving these guys into a danger I had under estimated, not to mention the dispair of seeing a 3cm SL Pearl fry losing its life after raising it from the size of a mosquito larvae

. I'm considering the possibility of trying to move them to 540l instead, but I want to give the group at least a week to get over the ordeal I put them through.]

The catfish have been in stock since I started the hobby, but I was thrown horribly off the scent by a common name along the lines of "Striped Squeaker" and it was only today just before asking staff to rescue the glassfish from in amongst the twenty-odd guppies that I re-read their info tag and saw the latin name. I was so shocked, as I desperately wanted to get one to add to my African theme Rio240.
It has settled in really well, even eating with the other fish a little earlier, while being very curious around the tank (completely ignoring the upset male Steatocranus casuarius/ Lionhead cichlid).

Saw some new lovely Clown Peckoltia in stock and having read a little about them since getting home, they would enjoy my riverine setups and look so much like striped versions of my two Hypoptopoma inexspectatum.
Also saw a tank of "Freshwater Lionfish" which I now wish I had written down their latin name, as research so far suggests all Lionfish are really brackish or full-on marine fish.
Along with the Salivator and Irrubesco Puffers, they also had some new Pygmy Puffers that I still need to read up about.
Oh, some new lovely little Flagtails too, very nice looking fish!
Finally, I also saw a tank of Scissortail-like fish, unlabelled and the knowledgable manager not around. They had silver bodies, with a single black spot on each flank, plus a barred lower caudial fin. About 7cm SL at mo. Any ideas what it was?

bought 4 Amano shrimp.....well I thought I had 4 Amano but I got home and found 3 Amano and 1 Bamboo :D

Also bought some new RC Shrimps so there will be some babies with different parentage.........unfortunately it meant I just had to set up another tank so that the babies I already have can grow with plenty of space. Well that`s my story to hubby and I`m sticking to it :hey:

I went to my LFS today. Bought 50 feeder goldfish because my pihrana's are eating me out of house and home. Anyone in Northern Illinois looking for pihranas? lol
