Tigrinus And Pearls

Here are my pics not to much in the way of markings and it has moved to a new tank tonight so should get a bit more growth on it as it has more space to hunt and burn off food.

Lovely, his growth speed is phenominal.
You must be doing everything right

i think you need to slow down with the feeding its looking a bit puffy maybe stop the prawn

it seems to have calmed down on the feeding on its own
its only been taking 1 platty per night for 3 nights

Have a look at this rescue site and you'll get an idea. Unfortunately, not everyone that buys these beautiful fish has a tank the size of Cane's

sorry to say mate you need to do some resurch before you say they get to big

the tiger shovelnose you posted in the link can grow to 4ft+

this is a totally diffrent fish you would be lucky to give a tiger shovelnose away

this type of M.tigrinus only grow to 24-26inch max and one that size would cost you £400-500
