Tease!!

I am starting on a major hunt for those cories you acquired. I am in the US though, I suspect it will be a long search :p If they end up insanely expensive, I am blaming you all the way!

Ahahahahahahaha  I'm sure I have no idea what you're talking about...

(they are pretty aren't they?!)

I rang yesterday to find out if they had any more in and they said not yet but the fella was on holiday so I should ring back next week. :hyper:

haha..even my hubby is in on the hunt. He doesn't get overly excited about this fish stuff, unless he means it!

FF, try Aquabid; Ian Fuller (salesname coryologist) sells regularly on there and if somebody has them, it's him! Or otherwise Corysrus is also a seller with a large assortment. You can always contact them directly if the species you are looking for is not being posted. You are so lucky to have all these resources; nobody ships to Canada....

Ty!!!! lol I will be buying my whole stock online which will be more expensive, but I can't buy locally when they don't believe me about the source of the fish tb.

So, the plants I been waiting for for ages arrived on Saturday. I'll just bung the pictures up. Sorry that they aren't great, my camera is becoming more and more awkward as it gets older (think I may need a new one soon), plus I had no light over the tank for a while.

My thoughts so far are:
1, the rio trim is really big! Can't see anything! lol.
2, I need a proper light - emergency lighting is pap.
3, "the vine root doesn't leach tannins" my bum!

The trim is a bummer. I love where this is headed. Are you planting a lot underwater as well?

The trim will come off yes... but I want to sell the tank on when I upgrade and it'll be worth more with the trim still on. Plus the brace bar is attached to the inside of the trim, which means if the trim comes off, so does the brace bar and I've seen this tank without one (I rested a bucket of sand on it and it snapped lol ) and I don't want to do it again!!

That's the idea yes.

My vision of how it is currently keeps changing.

I've still got one large planter which has nothing in it, and can shuffle the emmerse plants around however - they're all on suckers except one which is a magnet. The tiny planters came from D4nGr33n (swapped him for my denisonii barbs) and the medium and large ones came from home bargains for a grand total of 69p and 99p respectively!

Just for you FF04, here's some cory pictures  :hyper:

Wow this has come along, those plants are amazing and the cories are beautiful, spotted some in my local MA other day, they're great.

Is that a Juvie Green Sev in there?
Rotkeil. It's going to live with Micko as soon as he has the funds to cover postage :)

And I am going to steal those cories!!! They are stunning!!!!
:hyper: haha they are awesome aren't they?! I can't wait to get more. I'd forgotten how cool cories are... but I can spend ages watching them snuffing about, through the sand, over the wood, even up onto the anubias leaves to see if there's anything there... always on the go!
