The Panda Tank

 sorry.

Not familiar enough to know centigrades off hand w/o looking it up. Can you use a fan to cool the tank in the heat (if that's the problem.) I'm assuming it is the heat, becaue I am supposing you have a tank heater for cold weather. I had to use a fan for my common goldie on the porch this summer when we had weeks on end of 110 degrees+. It wasn't perfect but it kept him/her from becoming fish soup. Of course it's a bigger tank. I also added cold blocks (the stuff used to keep containers cold.) I keep a few in the freezer.

well to put it laterally we are talking changes of 100 F to 59F. The lower temperature is not a problem, however i rely on my room heat to keep my cory tanks at temperature: so rapant fluctuation particularly on the hot side causes alotta problem. When the really hot days come(yes we often get about 110-115 in full summer, this is just early spring) im gonna try aircon regulating.

Really, It helped a lot to run a fan across the water in the goldie tank and to drop those cold blocks in. The 60 usg was staying at 90 degrees and rising, when I gave in and started making an effort to cool the tank. My indoor fish don't have that problem. So much heated water that I never use the apartment heater and the AC keeps it below 80 degrees.
