Well I think I should start with a pair per week just so I dont overload the cycle right?

Ruskull: if you're talking about your angels, yes that's a good idea.
If you're talking about my stocking I need to put them in order from least to most aggressive. :)

Yeah MoF, I was talking about the Angels. It depends of course as to what Angels are available when I go. If they're really small I may get 4 of them at a time. I'll guess we'll have to play it as we go............

Your stock sounds nice to me but I'm no expert on Marine stocking. Your new tank is a 125 or 150 gallon?

That's it, I've sold all my firearms. Barry says I don't need them anymore while he hides behind armed personnel.

Hey Lovelies! My son wants to get some Angelfish for his 55 gallon! What do you think? I've never had Angels before but I think it'd fit in nicely with his stock as long as I move the Glowlights & Tetras.

I plan to move the Neons & Glowlights to my 20 gallon, and move the Glass Cats to my 36 after I move the last 2 Lemon Tetras to the 55 gallon. I was thinking maybe 2 silver striped Angels & 2 Koi to start off, what do ya think?

I think that is a fine idear.. I has a Koi and striped ones.. If you're going to get four, get six.. Trust me.. The Angels are cool.. They has by far the most interesting personalities..

Do it yo

Yeah Zach was looking for a centerpiece type fish and he even said he wished there was a South American version of a Gourami. I suppose Angels are as close to Gouramis as you can get in SA. He originally tried to get Mollies, Swords, Platies & Guppies but livebearers just aren't for us. Their libido is out of control. We have Marigold Variatus Platy that's constantly trying to mate with a large female Von Rio Flame Tetra...........and that same Variatus is always in fights with the Swordtail, HiFin Platy & the Lyretail Molly. Too much drama if you ask me, we got these tanks to help relax............hahahaha.

120 gallons.
Sweet! I'm still jealous. I want a 6 foot 100 gallon as my next tank and it'll probably replace my 36 gallon & 20 Gallon as a Southeast Asian masterpiece. I'd just up the numbers of the fish I already have plus add a large school of Harlequin Rasboras and maybe some Torpedo Barbs (Redline Sharks).

Got it today!!!!

I dint, but then again my tank is heavily planted, and filtered... Plus I am a freak..

How does your tank smell?? I can stick my head aboot an inch from the water and it smells like a pond in the woods.. That leads me to believe that everythang is hunky-dory, but I could be wrong..

I stopped measuring ammonia and the likes a few months ago..

My cories were spawning yesterday.. I did nothing to trigger the spawn, but throughout the course of the day my angels and guppies had a feast..

I hear you on the live bearers.. I stick with guppies.. I am ignorant when it comes to platties and mollies..

If we only had an executive order banning fish inter-specie rape, then you wouldn't have those problems in your tanks..

Hey Lovelies!!!

I am cheating on BT's today..

Taking the fam on a road trip to NH/MA line for bbq..]

Going to meet some friends..

It's not a complete cube, 4x2x2, but I've been told by several people that the width is much better for rock stacking.

Beautiful tank MoF, I love the canopy & cabinet. The most important thing about a tank's dimensions are where you plan to keep it IMO. After that it's what fish you plan to keep & are those specs good for them? Lastly it's the ease of maintenance, I've seen some really tall tanks that look great but it's got to be near impossible to reach the bottom with a gravel vac..............

Hey Lovelies! Last night Zach & I were finally able to catch and move the Lemon Tetras to the 55 gallon. I only smashed a few plants in the process. We caught the Glass Catfish as well and moved them to my 36 gallon. The Glass Cats are much faster than the Lemons but not nearly as smart. We caught all 5 in a matter of minutes.

So......today we went to Petsmart & Petco & bought (6) Angels of 3 different color variations, a pair of each to be exact. We got silver ones w/ black stripes, black/silver marbled ones & a couple of white ones with black towards their tails. The latter have a hint of yellowish orange on their foreheads so I'm hoping they are the Koi color variety. We decided to go with three pairs because they were all small at only about 1-2 inches tall. Later today we'll be doing a water change on that 55 gallon and I'll try to catch the Neons & Glowlights to move them to the 20 gallon. Work, work, work...............

Maybe the 2 center bars made you think each section was 1 foot?
