Bin a while since I was on. No news. All fish fine though I lost my gourami. Glad to see you guys seem fine. Lovely tank MOF, like the angels Ruskull.
Bin searchin rescues for a dog but proving tricky as I want one that will fit in nicely with my two mad offspring. Bin hankering for one for 30 odd years. Bout time I got a lil fella/gal.
Has anyone seen Django Unchained? Saw it last night, loved it. I'm a QT fan.

Welcome back Fintastic, we've missed you. Which Gourami died,I seem to remember you had a Dwarf? Either way it sucks to lose fish, even Neons, but Gouramis really grow on you personally. We had a crippled Von Rio Tetra that we named Skippy die tonight. He used to skip his way through the tank since his fins didn't work properly. He was like that since we got him about a year ago. Very sad.
What color variation are your Angels Hambone? I hear that Angels grow to their adult size within 6 months to a year. Ours look a bit bigger already. We're spoiling them though with regular daily feedings of quality flake, bloodworms a couple of days ago & I just fed the tanks a mix of brine shrimp & daphnia.

I has a couple stripid ones, and a couple Koi and one white.. Two are veiled and the other three are normal finned..
But they're great fun to watch.. I presently has aboot eighty fry in the sex farm and I need to cull some.. That might be my Friday night who knows...
But my angels luzz to eat tubifex, and blood worms as well as flake food.. I read that it's also recommended to feed them guppy fries.. It balances out their diet and makes them a more healthy fish.. My tank is loaded with feeder females that I got in the summer when I established that tank.. So they prowide the guppy fry on a very regular basis.. The angels has a 100% kill rate.. never had a fry surwive in that tank..

I think my local fish only store may have a Altum and they don't realize it. It looks very different from all the others with very strange, long, straight fins. They are a reef tank shop mostly with a small freshwater department, that's where I got my Paradise Fish. Anyway, they have him/her in an "assorted angels" tank and I saw one that looked different than all the others.............I'm temped to add it to the tank.

We found Skippy, the crippled Von Rio Tetra, dead in the leaves of an Amazon Sword today. So sad..........he was a fighter and the longest lived of my wild type Von Rio Flame Tetras. We gave him a proper porcelain funeral, complete with a few kind words from Zach & myself. We'll miss his antics and spirit.
The Angels are all doing well. We caught and moved (5) Glowlights and (2) Neons from Zach's 55 to the 20 high. We still have (1) Glowlight & (7) Neons to catch...........stay tuned..

We have to take my 120 gallon tank back to the store
not a bad thing, though lol getting a new one. While cleaning it I noticed a sticker and piece of glass tape in the right corner, so go to take them off but here's the catch: they're inside the rim of the tank so they aren't coming out *facepalm*
The tank will go back to the manufacturer and the lfs already ordered us a new one though. Stand and canopy will stay, getting the controller Saturday hopefully and perhaps the lights so can start attaching those pieces to the stand and canopy.

Yeah Hambone, it's not easy watching. The dialogue is very good and the white guys get their cumuppence. Not sure if I've spelled that correctly.
It's raining heavily here today. My daughter has a vomiting bug and I had no car the last couple of days 'cos a taxi driver hit into the side of me and wrecked it but it's fixed now so I'm happy. She didn't go through her insurance so she had to cough it up herself. Poor girl. Maybe she'll look where she's going and stay in the right lane next time.
