Turns out I dint need my car today afterall.. Going to needs it termerraw.. And I will has it too.. and that is the best news I heard all week..


Horrible day at work today.. The curve tracer I fixt still isnt working correct. i was hoping for an easy-peasy calibration and I spent all day troubleshooting the plug in unit.. I took some spare units into the lab today.. My plan on monday is to piece together a working plug in and get this curve tracer out the door..


I have been growing some glorious bacterias in my new filter.. it's maturing quite nicely.. My 37 gallon is on the verge of redonkulousness, or so I has heard..

Just got back from the fish store with my new tank, picked up some platty to recover the lost guppies this week and medication which is supposed to treat fungus and internal/external parasites which I hope should cure my molly. The calico platy didnt look pregnant but when I looked at the bag when I got home, we had a premature momma!

Unfortunately between me taking this picture and putting together the new light/lid for the fry tank, the 2 platy in the bag seemed to eat most of them, I've put them in the fry tank with my guppy fry and put some hornwort in there as well since the guppy were chasing around the platy since they're about twice the size of the newborns. I think I managed to save maybe 6-7 of the premature born fry and hopefully they'll all make it to adults

Crossfire, I know you'd enjoy this while I was at the LFS I turned and saw this tank, however without any lights on and no label it means they arent for sale, and prob not till sometime tomorrow but I most likely wont be able to get back there for a few weeks at least.

I really wanted to get 10 more....

Crossfire, I know you'd enjoy this while I was at the LFS I turned and saw this tank, however without any lights on and no label it means they arent for sale, and prob not till sometime tomorrow but I most likely wont be able to get back there for a few weeks at least.

I really wanted to get 10 more....

I do have issues with the tank....either that's blue sand, or a bare bottom tank which is a no-no. Also, no places to hide! Those kuhlis must be scared and stressed. Phantom, I leave it up to you to rescue those poor kuhlis

Its a bare bottom tank, for some fish species they get in that they dont have at the store 24/7 its generally glass bottom else there is gravel and a few decorations. That tank had my Hillstream loaches in it at one point and it was still a glass bottom. I talked to one of the people and he mentioned they might have accidently ordered a second batch and he assumes they'll have them for awhile so.... lets hope next time I can find a reason to go to the city they're still there

tis aboot time!!! I am finally getting my shakra on..

Lost an angel fish last night.. I suspect he/she got caught by one of my power head filters.. cause he/ she was all kinds of wedged in there..

had my water "professionally" tested today at the lfs, and it seems my nitrates are borderline high, and my ph is low..

You guys should see my 37 gallon, it's like a swamp.. tis a beautiful thang..

And good news! It looks like I'm finally gonna get that big tank I want, but it appears my dad wants me to go salty, but it seems like a lot more work

Did a waterchange in my fry tank and added a 2nd bunch of hornwort, one of my guppy fry died First one to die in prob 5 weeks since I found them in the tank and moved them to their own. No idea how he died though, I added extra dechlorinator to the bucket before I replaced the water

Hey Lovelies!!!

Today is going to be a day of water changes and christmas parties..

I must do my water changes before I take my daughter to the party.. Fired up the PS3 for the first time in a long time.. played Dirt 3.. it's a good game..

Also I am training some of my cory cats to eat from my hand.. The angels and betta was easy.. I has probably four cories that will consistantly take blood worms from my fingers at the top of the tank.. purdy neat if you axe me..
