Today was a busy busy day.. It flew by.. It all started when I had to perform ionizer calibrations, and just escalated from there.. I was in Probe at 0545 this fine morn, the night crew was still there.. It's funny to see the people on nights staring at at you walk into probe.. they're all like "who is this guy"

Ionizer calibrations? Just what is it you do for a living Mr. Bone?

The short of it is I'm an electronical tech.. been doing it for 20 years now..

My father was some sort of tech, worked on the A6 Intruder with Grumman. That's one of their more tech advanced aircraft of the time anyway.

Did a major reconfiguration on the tanks today.. first a lil back story:


Went camping this weekend.. So my guppys weren't feed for four days.. Well, they did manage to find somethang to eat, my Half-moon betta's fins.. The guppys exacted their revenge for all the hundred of fries he has eaten these last four months...


So I took all the fancy guppys out out my 15 gallon, along with a couple wild ones who got scooped up, and put them into my 37 gallon...


I took the betta out of the 37 gallon and put him in the 15.. He's in there with aboot a dozen wild guppys.. He can eat their fries..


All that, and I killed a pest snail today too.. I got pest snails in my 15 gallon.. It was a baby too, probably more on the way..

I have this "test" tomorrow in PE called the pacer test. You gotta run as many laps as possible, and it gets faster as you go on. Im thinking 75 easy, aiming for about 90 this year. Did 70 last year.

Sad sad day in Hambonewille this morn.. I found an extremely preggers guppy belly-side today.. I has been watching her these last three days.. She hemorrhaged the other day, i thought she would pop, but nope.. died of internal injuries brought on by the insemination from a male..

Here's my son's new 55 gallon acrylic tank so far:

The wood wouldn't sink so I took it out & started putting in plants from his 20 gallon:

Later today after his Football game we'll move some plants & switch the filter over along with his fish. I'm really hoping the move doesn't hurt any of them........

They're building a freshwater tank, and they were picking out fish...

They're putting guppies with bala sharks and mulitple rainbow sharks in a 30-gallonish freaking TV tank!!!!!!!!!!!!!


What the heck I thought they were professionals!

I refuse to watch that show... thinking of boycotting Animal Planet because of it..
