I say enjoy them while they're small..

They may look cute, but they're bickering so much in there it's ridiculous!
I'm too scared to put them back in the main tank till they're 3 cm, I want them to be that big so I can at least know I can get fry at that size... to beat the record and to raise the fry's chances of survival. Also, having Arrie eat my smaller unnamed fry was pretty sad too. -.-

Hey lovelies!!!!

Sold some aquarium supplies today. A tetra HT10 heater for $10. Bought it for $11 but used for 1 day. Then an old syphon bought for $7.69, sold for $5 and a thermometer I bought for $1.59, sold for $1. Pretty good. $16 for about $20 of stuff I don't use anymore. Wanted to sell him an ammonia and nitrite kit, but he didn't wanna buy them also gave him 5 ceramics so his filter would hopefully only go through a mini cycle. It's a new tank.

Hey Lovelies!

Joined my Fantasy Football league last night. We are doing the NFL Experience leagues this year instead of personal ones with a cash pool. Thought it would be awesome to win some official prizes.

My hubbs and I have to been on separate leagues though. We might kill each other in our sleep at the height of the season if we were competing against each other.

I'd like to say we are grownups, but it wouldn't be true.

All 4 of my fry have grown a lot lately due to egg yolk + bloodworm diet. Hope at least the older fry will be ready for release in the middle of August.

Wanted to go for a walk during the night, but it started raining. Well... at least it will cool down the temps.

EDIT: On my way home I stopped and picked out a nice Guppy to add to the 20 gallon sand tank. Amazing how getting a fish can cheer a person up after a long day.

Fed my oldest fry some bloodworms and gave the younger ones some dried daphnia. Zombie doesn't look hunchbacked anymore, he looks like a normal fish. X)

He is very active, but Zombie's sibling, (who doesn't yet have a name, I'm still waiting to see what his/her personality is like and if possible, gender) is chasing Zombie away all the time.
The only fry so far to have a confirmed gender is Ninja, who already has a developing gonopodium.

Zach distracted me and I ended up locking us out of the house this morning making me late for work! What a great start to the day............

Fishblast, the new Guppy looks a bit like the other new guy but he's a little bigger & his tail is brighter red with no white square in the middle of it. He's crazy too, he thinks he's a Cory or something running up & down the sides of the tank like he's on a mission.

I did a big 50% water change on Zach's 20 gallon last night & the fish all seem happier. He has one Neon that looks bloated though, I hope it isn't dropsy..........or I may have to dose his tank with Tetracycline or Metronidazole tonight. Any suggestions people?

I figured he was doing the up & down the glass thing because he was just released into the tank. I don't know if I can save that Neon or not and I'm not big on medicating a tank when I don't know what the problem really is. None of the other fish show any signs of this. In fact it could be egg bound?

Idk, no experience with egg layers. Except hoplos, but those never bred, and my betta spawn failed since the eggs just rotted away. -.-
