Yes T all comments welcome I decided to try scaping without the rods first and when I finished I really liked it, so I didn't bother with them. You can't really see in the photo, but there are 3 caves in there, one on the left and 2 on the right, It looks natural to me, with a sort of rock fall appearance on the right, But i'm sure over the months tweeking will go on

No problem Bagu, I am the young one I didn't go with the polario as it gives out a lot of flow, and lions don't really like that, so I went the tried and tested Koralia route, I have 3 xK3's in there

Will do tests later, but the nitrIte seems to be stuburn, it is falling but very, very slowly

I can almost see them in the tank
I must be honest I'm not a great lover of the Fuzzy or Dwarf either, I really prefer the long flowing fins of the Pterois Volitan and Antennata. If I can find a Juvie Volitan then I shall get it, or next best a Pterois russelli.

But first I must get my CUC in there I was going to buy online but I have today off work, so, I might nip to the LFS later to see what they have.
Oh God I hope they don't have a Lion in there.

At least you are going for the Pterois type lionfish.

It may be good if you do see a juvie volitans, you can reserve it and you will have something to keep you focused. I see Juvie Volitans all the time around here. I have always looked at them with dreamy eyes but obviously do not have the tank for them (Unless I switched the 55g to a saltwater tank for one) Stop it Tina, the other half would have a fit.

Just got back from LFS, CUC now acclimatizing

I bought
6 x Red legged hermits (plus some nice shells for them)
8 x Cerith snails (2 large ones)
7 x Turbo snails (1 Large one)

They didn't have any Nassarius Snails so I shall have to get them online.

Pictures later as battery has just run out on camera

and the cool news is, LFS said they will now be stocking lionfish, I told him what I was after and he is going to see what he can get
