The Continuing Adventures Of Skifletch

Tank is looking great, as expected. I don't really look at the journals that much and just today realized you had one going. Keep up the great work Ski. :good:

Hehe, thanks. I'm pretty much in "coast mode" if that makes sense. No real major upgrades, just minor tweaking or frag addition. As a result there's not too much big to update on :). Just hope it looks as good when I return home from florida.

Oh no, I'm here in Florida already :). Going Kayaking in the Everglades tomorrow... No pictures of reefs, but hopefully the ones I do take will not include my hand in an alligator's mouth

My roommates. No problems so far. They've done good in the past

Mine got their shot when I left for christmas...everything was fine when I returned aside from a near empty sump and a grinding skimmer :p

Get us plenty of good pics bud!

'Stamps feet'
Looking good, really like the fish you have in there :good:
If only I had a proper job lol.
Will be waiting to see pics of your vacation!

Well, so much has happened in the last couple weeks and it's been a long time since I updated this, so I figued why not. For those of you that don't know, a week ago I forgot to turn my air conditioner on for what happened to be the hottest day of the summer to-date... Whoops. Long story short, tank temp got up to 89+ degrees and I lost a handful of corals. Most surprisingly made it through. Also, a month or so ago I re-did the rockwork when I had to catch a wrasse which was nipping my corals. Pain in the butt but I like the new look. Hope you guys do too. I also realized I've never really taken a pic of my frankensump, so I figured you guys should see it. Inside there is a EuroReef protein skimmer, ozonizer (which sits behind the aquarium), heater, refugium with cheato and a bit of LR, phosphate reactor, precariously placed UV sterilizer, and obviously the drains and return pump.
