You see I know there were 3 fish last night.... I did a water change, used a siphon so he's not got scooped out and I'm failrly certain there were 3 when I fed them last night.

Tonight...... one of the boys has completely disappeared without trace. I've moved everything, jiggled the stones, checked the filter.... nothing. He was a little bit smaller than the other 2 but even so.

Any suggestions?

I lost a Khuli loach for about 4 days.

I dug EVERYTHING up and he was nowhere to be found.

I decided he must have been eaten.

Turned up randomly one day sat with the other Khuli.

I have no idea where these fish go.

I think they bi-locate, like Jonathan Livingston Seagull...

I'm sorry you've lost your platy, GrannyC; I hope he turns up, but it does happen that fish die and you never find them :(

Try looking up from the substrate rather than down. He may be wedged under somthing & not visible from above.

Still no sign.....

It's only a 30l Biorb so there isn't loads of places to hide and I'm doing water changes daily to get it going. Good idea about looking up though. Not that he's there.......

Thanks
Claire
