Is Aquabid ok to use if you're wanting to ship to Australia?
I can't even imagine a fish living through the whole postage process??

I've looked for local online retailers but can't seem to find one that sounds
responsible enough to ship fish...

I know Laurafrog has bought from aquabid and shes in QLD. I cant bring myself to though.. All though they are gorgeous, i just cant do it to the fish. And yeah, its hell expensive by the time he gets to NSW or even Vic.

wow i just woked out on aquabid how much it would cost if i bought a HM and how much shipping would be and how much she he would spend in the bag....poor lil fella. I cant do that to him.

Just wondering - did you ever get in touch with that breeder in Australia?

I never heard back from the breeder unfortunantly. I may try again in a month or so once my 4ft is divided and ready to go. Would love to get some beauties off aquabid for it. i have room for 3 more

OMG! That first one in Gill's post is amazing... I drooled over him for days when he was on aquabid.
Lila, that triband is something else as well...

I might post some more drool-cases once I finish off my fish-database-of-hotness. I've been saving aquabid photos for years. How pathetic is that?

I'm actually getting this one. Hopefully with a sibling female.

haha, well ...NOT REALLY A CHANCE.. someone gave me a VT cause they bought about 60 of them for wedding tables arrangements and not everyone wanted a fish, and i couldnt let them flush him -,-.... mean stupid idiot people.... So I have one extra fish in my 40 that i could have put another fish lol oh well!

That is my ultimate Betta. In 2-3 months time I will be living in Thailand might have to force myself to buy another betta although it would be blasphemy for Jack (my current CT) at home.

Yeah i live in the uk too, always look at aquabid like this just out of intrest have you ever contacted the guy in germany who ships to the uk. Would love to know how much it would cost to get one
