Tff Meetings

Hehe....who wants to cover my plane fare? :hey:

I've thought about trying to start an aquariums club where I live, but I don't think there are quite enough people in my area serious enough about fish keeping to be interested. I've been scheming to get a part time at one of the local shops though, so maybe I'll meet more people that way.

I would def go to one if there was one in my area......... If I was to host one :- I think that would be fun few nibbles and a couple of drinks :drinks: are always good ice breaker for these things I love entertaining so it would be fun however if people said they were going to turn up and didn't I wouln't be very happy.

I don't think my car could go that far!
Mind you, I applied to live in Australia last year.. Because of my skills they are still emailing me to get on withthe move!

ilovemyfishie i would definitly go if you were going to host it but unforuantly i dont think my parents would drive to the sunshine coast as i am only 13

Hey, i love my fishie, there are heaps of people from Bris here, what if we set up something half way between us, like at Coolum or something?

Yes we are in short supply of people with trades at the moment so you would actually make quite a bit of money in Australia with those trades behind you :) but if your wife is very emotionally attached to your family Australia may have to be a place to visit rather than move or you could convince her family to move with you. :hey:

:/
Not a chance.
No actually we did plan on it but the sister-in-law, although skilled, is too old. Or rather, above the required admitance age.
I actually love England, its just the way the government were letting in every Tom, Dick and Harry. And still are. Its this that is making Englad so un-English.
I suppose I best just go with the flow.

I would probably like to talk this topic further with you, Renee. But the Mods will probably smack my pixelated backside for deviating from the topic of the thread!
