Tell me something funny

Back in 1958 my parents bought us kids a 12 gallon aquarium. They purchased all the gravel, air pump, and a lid light. Just put it on an end table. Brought home a pair of black mollies, pair of red swordtails and a golden gourami.
About a month later on a Saturday night we saw that the female swordtail was having babies and total mayhem broke out and the feast was on. My dad went nuts and got a quart mason jar and took the little fish net and gathered up about a dozen of the fry and had them in about 2/3rds water inside the quart jar. The lip of the jar stuck out of the water about 3 inches.
The next morn we went down to look at what fry we had left and there was the male swordtail swimming around inside the mason jar. They then bought us some floating grass.

Have you seen those prices...?
Time to collect newspapers... 😜
Think creative...

well it's been a long time since I've seen a new Sears catalog ... just think cloth diapers...

They used to sell those in all the cheesy tourist shops around here, as "Old Indian Weather Rock." I'm sure you could find one somewhere in Billings. Or just make one. Last time I traveled to Britain, around 25 years ago, I took gifts for some family friends over there in Durham. They had a teenage boy with an odd sense of humor, and so I gave him an "Old Indian Weather Rock." I figured it would be good for a chuckle, but they all seemed to think it was the most uproariously funny thing they had ever seen. Every morning the boy would run outside with the rock to check the weather, then they'd all gather round to see what it said. Their reaction was way funnier than the actual joke.
