LOL! When I was a kid I was given a crystal radio kit to build. Never did actually get it to work but found that, if I put the headset prongs in an electrical outlet, it would screech and howl. Was sort of cool but I should probably have been dead.

I should have been whipped like a red headed step child when I tricked my little brother into putting a knife into an electrical outlet . The sparks and the shock were scary . We went back to playing with matches after that .
