Hiya
The first one is definitely a Halfmoon, as the caudal fin is 180 degrees at least. Its hard to tell with the second one as the caudal fin is overlapped on the camera side by the anal and dorsal, but it looks to be just under the 180 degree halfmoon, making it a superdelta, as the extreme ray/edge of each caudal edge is straight. The second one could be a halfmoon though with a better picture of the spread, say from the other side.

Anyone correct me if Im wrong

Lee

The first one is halfmoon, the second looks like halfmoon too- it's hard to tell with his dorsal and anal fin covering the tail, but even if he's not HM, he's pretty darn close.

are you the person that got these of kevs site. if so just ask kev as he has seen them close up. but i would say both are HM.

the second one i can see through the anal fins and it looks just short of a HM but is defo SUN butterfly rather than a MOON butterfly due to its fringed extensions

number 2 isnt giving its all for that pic and you cant see through the top. so i will still say HM and yes and Butterfly but not a Halfsun. fringe extensions like that are very common in HM and far from makes it a Halfsun (which is currently an unrecognised tail type.)

Nope just giving correct info as asked for. :p

 we'll agree to disagree on the matter of the halfsun then, as we know its not a recognized tail type yet so the variation of what is actuallly classed as halfsun is somewhat different in many eyes, still its a great fish  wouldnt mind it if the OP ever needs to find him a good home (hopeful thinking)
