There are some that say the CTs are more aggressive but I find that hard to believe, they make look a little meaner with those spiky fins but surely tail type has nothing to do with their temperament.

As far as flow and bettas go, they can cope with a bit of flow. When I got mine I cut everything right back and slowly increased it and he's fine, don't get me wrong the current isn't super fast but he can avoid the areas that have the strongest current if he wants to but he does swim in those areas sometimes as well. It just means he has big muscles lol Arnold Schwarzenbetta

I have removed everything from my CT's tank to see if he was scraping his fins on something, his fins have healed so maybe a sharp rock or something was snagging him.

He flares at me less then my half-moon

Yeah I got one, but he doesn't really have as much personality as the crazy betta people say. If he ever dies (knock on wood) I'll either sell his tank or maybe buy a new one.

Don't know how you can say that you obviously don't spend enough time with him

Ive never been like that huge betta fan guy but i do like that such a big fish like that can live in like a 1 gallon or something like that

Actually it can't I consider 2.5 gallons a minimum for a temporary house with 5 a minimum for a permanent home.

Well it CAN, but it wouldn't be as happy as it would in a larger tank. I kept bettas as a child in 1 gallon vases. Not ideal but they all lived very long lives. I have mine in 3.5g tanks {with filters and heaters} right now but it's not where I am going to keep them forever.

10g full setups are cheap and so is plastic canvas....instant divider and a fully planted home for 2 bettas.

They deserve to have a proper tank.

Also I get the feeling that this forum is getting overrun by crazy betta ppl, has anyone else noticed this? It makes me feel sorry for the non betta folks, you must be like, oh just shut up already! lol
